“I love to work with a very scientific approach and that is also my way of life, I am sceptical about everything”

We often struggle to express our emotions, while relying on familiar terms such as anxiety can lead to them becoming overused and losing their true meaning. It’s important to remember that our emotions serve a purpose, and avoiding them because they’re uncomfortable will only create long-term barriers to growth. As we grow and change, we also outgrow our old behaviours and frameworks for processing these emotions, which can lead to increased anxiety and feelings of failure.

Suramya uses an individualised approach in therapy that strives to provide a safe space for her clients to access and understand their full range of emotions. Her approach aims to foster emotional alignment in their thoughts and actions, empowering them to feel secure in themselves, their values, and their goals. To do this she works with their internal dialogue with an aim to restore their sense of self-worth. In her work, she helps clients gain insight into the inner workings of their nervous system, mainly the peripheral nervous system that so often gets overlooked. By the end of therapy, clients leave with a deeper understanding of how stress manifests physically and with practical tools for managing it, feeling more aligned and balanced in both mind and body.
