Amber is a passionate and empathetic student therapist pursuing her Master of Theology in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy at Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU). She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from WLU, where her academic excellence earned her several top distinctions, including the Laurier President’s Gold Scholarship and a Faculty of Arts Gold Medal.

Amber’s diverse professional background—including research in cross-cultural studies, tutoring multilingual students, and leading university tutorials—has equipped her with a strong foundation in active listening, cultural humility, and empathetic communication. These experiences directly inform her therapeutic approach, where she integrates both analytical and relational strengths to support clients with care and precision. Fluent in four languages, Amber brings a nuanced understanding of how language, identity, spirituality, and culture intersect in the therapeutic space.

Outside of her academic and clinical work, Amber draws inspiration from poetry and architecture. She finds particular solace in museums, where she enjoys reflecting on the beauty found in ancient artifacts.
