Bill is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a Yorkville University graduate with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Bill believes that clients can sometimes feel like they are bothered by what happened in the past, stuck in their present life, and lost about their future. They feel like they don’t know which way to turn. Bill uses a psychodynamic approach to therapy and aims to help his clients realize that the present, past, and future are interconnected, and resolving an issue in one of these areas also resolves it for the others. Sometimes borrowing from other therapy modalities, Bill helps his clients obtain self-awareness and practical skills that help them reach the resolution they desire.
Bill brings his experiences in creative writing into his sessions to enhance his clinical practice, as he has seen creativity at work both as an excellent expression of the unconscious mind and a valuable healing power. With a clarified vision and learned skills, Bill’s clients feel empowered to handle whatever comes next in life.
