“Healing is not the absence of pain, but the ability to move through it with strength and resilience.”
Many young adults face intense anxiety, depression, and self-doubt during major life transitions, such as graduation, career changes, or relationship shifts. For those with a history of complex trauma, past emotional pain—like childhood trauma or negative relationship experiences—often resurfaces, making it harder to cope with change. This can leave individuals feeling stuck and disconnected, unable to move forward in their personal or professional lives.
In therapy, Harpreet uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address the underlying causes of these emotional struggles. CBT helps clients reframe negative thought patterns, manage stress, challenge self-limiting beliefs, and build emotional resilience. EMDR helps process past trauma, reducing its emotional charge and impact on present-day functioning. These approaches are especially effective for those with complex trauma affecting their response to life changes. Through her integrative therapeutic approach, Harpreet works with her clients to address these issues by fostering healing, building coping strategies, and helping them find clarity and resilience through life’s challenges.
Her clients leave therapy feeling empowered and better equipped to handle future challenges with resilience and self-compassion. Her clients experience reduced anxiety and depression, increased self-awareness, and emotional stability. By processing past trauma, they can move forward with greater clarity and confidence, leading to healthier relationships, improved self-esteem, and a clearer sense of direction.

Beyond her role as a psychotherapist, Harpreet is a firm believer in the power of self-care and personal growth. She loves exploring new ideas through books, podcasts, and documentaries—anything that expands her knowledge and deepens her understanding of human experiences. She also has a love for staying active, whether it’s through weight training, yoga, or simply spending time outdoors. These activities not only help her stay grounded but also remind her of the importance of balance in life. She strives to lead a life that reflects the same values she encourages in her clients: growth, balance, and connection.
