In this 12-week program, we’ll support you in navigating those shifts with greater ease, helping you move through life transitions with more clarity, confidence, and calm.

Therapy for life transitions works towards building resilience during times of change. At Mississauga Psychotherapy Center, we’re dedicated to providing compassionate care that empowers you to navigate change with strength. Designed by experienced therapists, this 12 week program offers a structured and supportive approach to managing anxiety. Each component is grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to help you build lasting skills, so you can feel more in control and confident in your ability to handle life’s changes without the use of medication.
What To Expect

Our program begins with personalized goal setting to address your unique challenges, followed by standardized assessments to better understand your symptoms. Over the course of 12 weekly individual sessions, you’ll work with a therapist to build practical coping strategies. You’ll also receive a personalized anxiety toolkit to support long-term management. The program concludes with a post-treatment evaluation to assess your progress and plan for continued well-being.

Modalities Used:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Through CBT, you’ll learn practical strategies to manage your anxiety and improve your mental well-being.

IFS therapy helps you explore the different parts of your inner self, each with its own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By understanding and integrating these parts, you can better manage internal conflict and reduce anxiety, fostering greater self-compassion and emotional balance.

ACT helps you accept difficult emotions rather than avoid them. It encourages you to commit to actions aligned with your core values, even in the face of anxiety. This approach fosters resilience and enables you to live a more fulfilling life, despite life’s challenges.

This approach helps us identify the physical, psychological, and social factors that contribute to your anxiety. Understanding these layers allows us to address the root causes of your anxiety in a holistic way and tailor the program to meet your unique needs.
